Silberberg's "Places in the Making" will inform NeighborWorks

The NeighborWorks America Training Institute provides training to thousands of community development professionals and activists every year. About 1,500 training participants take courses in the Community Engagement and Neighborhood Revitalization learning areas—2 of 9 learning areas in their curriculum. “Places in the Making” will be included in one course in each of the curriculum areas; Strategies for More Livable Neighborhoods, the place-building course in the Revitalization learning area, and Community Organizing: Beyond Mobilization, Volunteerism, and Outreach in Community Engagement.
